Green Tea Enzyme Powder Wash by Wishtrend

If you follow me on Instagram you probably saw my post and brief review on Wishtrend’s Green Tea Enzyme Powder Wash.

I wanted to write a more in-depth review on here, and really focus on the benefits of the ingredients.

This is specifically made for all skin types, which is a plus. It hydrates the skin while controlling blackheads, and is made to not pull skin or cause irritation while cleansing. Which is great for sensitive skin!

So lets get into the benefits of the key ingredients!

The main ingredient is of course, Green Tea, which is a powerful antioxident as is full of vitamins A, C, & E.

Vitamin A encourages healthy skin cell production, it stimulates the cells that develop tissue that keep the skin firm and healthy.

Vitamin C has antioxidant properties, which help to fight against free radicals. Which in turn helps to fight against aging skin.

Vitamin E also helps block free radicals, it can also reduce the visibility of scars, reduce the signs of aging, such as fine lines, wrinkles, and brown spots.

Green Tea also is a natural anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer.

This face wash also contains baking soda, which is a great exfoliant. It also helps to neutralize chemicals that can cause skin irritation. It also helps to fight against blackheads, cleanse pores, and helps improve acne-prone skin.

The next key ingredient is Papain, it helps renew the skin as well as lighten it. It’s also a natural exfoliant, skin softener, moisturizer, and helps fight acne. It also helps the body to fight free radicals, thus again, preventing aging.

And the last key ingredient is Amino acid surfactants,

“A weakly acidic surfactant derived from coconut. Great skin-affinity and excellent moisture retention.
Low irritant and has excellent moisturizing effect, without creating much foam.” – (Taken from the Wishtrend website).

To use this product you pour a decent amount of powder into your hand, and add a little bit of water until you get the amount of lather you’d like. If you have thin sensitive skin, the website recommends not to use more than 2-3 times a week.

I really did enjoy this face wash, it left my skin feeling the smoothest it’s ever felt from a face wash, super refreshed, and clean!

Formula 10.0.6 – Get Your Glow On Face Peel Review!

So over this past week I was browsing around at Target when I spotted Formula 10.0.6’s line of products (that packaging though 😍), and I grabbed myself their “Get Your Glow On Face Peel.” I haven’t used a peel mask light this one, so I was excited to try it!

The mask goes on like a clear gel, that you evenly spread across your face. You leave it on for 10 minutes or so, and then peel from the jaw line up! It’s not like those super strong/harsh face masks that I’ve seen circling around. It was very gently and caused no pain at all! I payed special attention to my nose and chin areas which are my biggest problem areas, and I noticed a difference pretty instantly. My skin felt AMAZINGLY smooth and soft, and my pores looked tightened and smaller, and it helped with my clogged pores! I’m one of those weird people who likes to see all the nasty stuff that comes off on their masks, and this mask did not disappoint! 😂 It has papaya in it to help resurface skin, and citrus to boost the brightness of of skin.

They have so many other amazing products as well, and I’ve been eyeballing their One Smooth Operator Pore Clearing Face Scrub, it looks amazing! And like I mentioned earlier, their packaging is just so appealing to the eye. It’s all so colorful and looks like it’ll smell super amazing.

LimeLight Dream Clean: Aloe & Soapberry Face Cleanser Review

Hey guys! My Uncle fixed my laptop (again… it’s seriously died twice now) so now I’ll hopefully be a little more consistent with my blog posts!

I decided that I wanted to write a little snippet about the LimeLight Dream Clean sample that I got from my friend Sabrina. I used it the other night to wash my face and take all my makeup off. Usually I use a makeup wipe first to take off the bulk of my eye makeup, and then I use a face wash, and a deep face cleanser a couple of times a week. So I decided to go in with a full face of makeup to see how well this cleanser worked… and oh my goodness… my face has NEVER felt so clean. I NEED to get my hands on more of this stuff. My face felt super soft, and clear, it was amazing and very refreshing!

“The ingredients in Dream Clean are so exceptional, but here are some true stars of the show:

Aloe Vera – helps heal the skin, creates a “shield” to keep pollutants out and moisture in, and promotes redevelopment of new, healthy skin cells.

Soapberry – this plant contains natural saponins that cleanse the skin. These extracts have been proven to inhibit melanin production, reducing the appearance of age spots and sun damage. Saponins also fight bacteria, which makes this a great cleanser for acne prone skin.

Extract of White Tea – this extract offers antioxidant benefits to the skin cells. Spirulina Platensis Algae – is known to provide firming qualities to the skin as well as substantial hydration.”

I love that LimeLight is phthalate free,  paraben free,  chemical free,  cruelty free! I went through the ingredients and researched them one by one, over all this face cleanser is pretty clean chemically! Which I’ll admit, I don’t always use the cleanest products, because a lot of the time they either have horrible color options (for makeup) or they just don’t apply well, or clean well. So I’m happy to have more natural options, and I’m really excited that this brand popped up.

I also LOVE skincare products and I hate when a company only has a few options. Click here to see all these amazing skincare options! Hopefully I can make an order later this month!
