Green Tea Enzyme Powder Wash by Wishtrend

If you follow me on Instagram you probably saw my post and brief review on Wishtrend’s Green Tea Enzyme Powder Wash.

I wanted to write a more in-depth review on here, and really focus on the benefits of the ingredients.

This is specifically made for all skin types, which is a plus. It hydrates the skin while controlling blackheads, and is made to not pull skin or cause irritation while cleansing. Which is great for sensitive skin!

So lets get into the benefits of the key ingredients!

The main ingredient is of course, Green Tea, which is a powerful antioxident as is full of vitamins A, C, & E.

Vitamin A encourages healthy skin cell production, it stimulates the cells that develop tissue that keep the skin firm and healthy.

Vitamin C has antioxidant properties, which help to fight against free radicals. Which in turn helps to fight against aging skin.

Vitamin E also helps block free radicals, it can also reduce the visibility of scars, reduce the signs of aging, such as fine lines, wrinkles, and brown spots.

Green Tea also is a natural anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer.

This face wash also contains baking soda, which is a great exfoliant. It also helps to neutralize chemicals that can cause skin irritation. It also helps to fight against blackheads, cleanse pores, and helps improve acne-prone skin.

The next key ingredient is Papain, it helps renew the skin as well as lighten it. It’s also a natural exfoliant, skin softener, moisturizer, and helps fight acne. It also helps the body to fight free radicals, thus again, preventing aging.

And the last key ingredient is Amino acid surfactants,

“A weakly acidic surfactant derived from coconut. Great skin-affinity and excellent moisture retention.
Low irritant and has excellent moisturizing effect, without creating much foam.” – (Taken from the Wishtrend website).

To use this product you pour a decent amount of powder into your hand, and add a little bit of water until you get the amount of lather you’d like. If you have thin sensitive skin, the website recommends not to use more than 2-3 times a week.

I really did enjoy this face wash, it left my skin feeling the smoothest it’s ever felt from a face wash, super refreshed, and clean!

2018!

So far, 2018 has been pretty hard… and we’re only 4 days in!

My little boy ended up getting sick right after Christmas and all the way through to New Years. He’s still coughing and has a bit of a runny nose, but seems to be improving with each day!

(My little sick croaky singer. 😍😭)

Me on the other hand… I’m officially 28 weeks preggo, and all the stress of the holidays, dealing with a sick toddler, and being uncomfortable during pregnancy has finally caught up to me. I’ve been down and out for the past few days… I’m hoping by tomorrow I’ll be feeling completely better!

So yeah, my 2018 started off pretty rough! But, I’m still really optimistic and hoping to make this year an amazing one!

I’ve decided to revamp my blog, by embedding my videos directly into my posts, and being more consistent with product reviews. I also want to try and post makeup tutorials using pictures as examples and to show what I’m doing, rather than purely using videos.

I’m not making any promises though, pregnancy and momming has totally been kicking my butt! And as much as I’d like to say I know I’ll for sure be able to keep up with a blog, and two kids… I’m not going to kid myself. (no pun intended).

So! Here’s to a new year! And hopefully a fruitful one with beauty blogging and whatnot. ❤

Baby #2 Is Due! (Update)

I haven’t been posting on here at all lately… And I feel so bad for it!
I’ve been focusing my energy on my Instagram account. And I’m about to be trying to revamp my Youtube channel.
But! I’m going to try to get some more written reviews and links to my Youtube reviews up on here as well. (maybe some of my IG reviews).

I’m about to be starting on a new program with a company and will be supplied with quite a bit of products to make content on! I’m really excited and it’s a pretty big step in the right direction for my beauty blogging.

This coming November I’ll be hitting my 1 year anniversary of beauty blogging. Sometimes I feel like I haven’t come nearly as far as I was hoping in a year, and other times I feel like I’ve accomplished a lot. I’m hoping to accomplish even more this next coming year!

Another reason why I haven’t been keeping up with Youtube and my blog as well is… I’m expecting baby number 2!
I thought my first pregnancy was tiring, but now that I have to chase a 2 year old around on top of being pregnant I feel like I could nap literally all day long.

And on top of being behind already, we moved the end of August and then my husband started working 6 days a week at his job, so we’re still not fully unpacked, and I haven’t gotten my new set up finished yet. It’s been a very busy past 2 months.

I’m excited for the change, and the new house and new baby. But it’s definitely taking up a lot of my focus and time, and more often than not I’m looking for a chance to rest.

But anyways~ I wanted to share a little bit with those of you who might still be around reading this. And hopefully I’ll eventually get some pictures of our new house up!

Formula 10.0.6 – Get Your Glow On Face Peel Review!

So over this past week I was browsing around at Target when I spotted Formula 10.0.6’s line of products (that packaging though 😍), and I grabbed myself their “Get Your Glow On Face Peel.” I haven’t used a peel mask light this one, so I was excited to try it!

The mask goes on like a clear gel, that you evenly spread across your face. You leave it on for 10 minutes or so, and then peel from the jaw line up! It’s not like those super strong/harsh face masks that I’ve seen circling around. It was very gently and caused no pain at all! I payed special attention to my nose and chin areas which are my biggest problem areas, and I noticed a difference pretty instantly. My skin felt AMAZINGLY smooth and soft, and my pores looked tightened and smaller, and it helped with my clogged pores! I’m one of those weird people who likes to see all the nasty stuff that comes off on their masks, and this mask did not disappoint! 😂 It has papaya in it to help resurface skin, and citrus to boost the brightness of of skin.

They have so many other amazing products as well, and I’ve been eyeballing their One Smooth Operator Pore Clearing Face Scrub, it looks amazing! And like I mentioned earlier, their packaging is just so appealing to the eye. It’s all so colorful and looks like it’ll smell super amazing.
