Hey everyone! I’ve gotten quite a few requests on a brow tutorial, and it’s been a minute since I’ve done an updated version.
I thought I’d go a little bit more in depth this time around, and just filmed a short tutorial to really show you guys my technique. This is just what works well for me, so you might need to tweak it a little bit to work for you!
I originally used e.l.f.’s duo brush, which is a great affordable alternative! I’m pretty sure it’s only about $5 at your local Target!
But I just recently bought an ABH duo brush 7B, and I can really tell a difference when it comes to precision and quality. The bristles are just a lot denser, and it’s easier to get sharper looking brows with this brush.
I just bought a new pot of the dipbrow a well, I had a little left in my old pot, but it wasn’t nearly as creamy as it originally was. Although I’ve heard you can revive it using baby oil, I only had a liquid moisturizer available (or olive oil), which definitely worked well enough until I could get some more.
So far, 2018 has been pretty hard… and we’re only 4 days in!
My little boy ended up getting sick right after Christmas and all the way through to New Years. He’s still coughing and has a bit of a runny nose, but seems to be improving with each day!
(My little sick croaky singer. 😍😭)
Me on the other hand… I’m officially 28 weeks preggo, and all the stress of the holidays, dealing with a sick toddler, and being uncomfortable during pregnancy has finally caught up to me. I’ve been down and out for the past few days… I’m hoping by tomorrow I’ll be feeling completely better!
So yeah, my 2018 started off pretty rough! But, I’m still really optimistic and hoping to make this year an amazing one!
I’ve decided to revamp my blog, by embedding my videos directly into my posts, and being more consistent with product reviews. I also want to try and post makeup tutorials using pictures as examples and to show what I’m doing, rather than purely using videos.
I’m not making any promises though, pregnancy and momming has totally been kicking my butt! And as much as I’d like to say I know I’ll for sure be able to keep up with a blog, and two kids… I’m not going to kid myself. (no pun intended).
So! Here’s to a new year! And hopefully a fruitful one with beauty blogging and whatnot. ❤
So over this past week I was browsing around at Target when I spotted Formula 10.0.6’s line of products (that packaging though 😍), and I grabbed myself their “Get Your Glow On Face Peel.” I haven’t used a peel mask light this one, so I was excited to try it!
The mask goes on like a clear gel, that you evenly spread across your face. You leave it on for 10 minutes or so, and then peel from the jaw line up! It’s not like those super strong/harsh face masks that I’ve seen circling around. It was very gently and caused no pain at all! I payed special attention to my nose and chin areas which are my biggest problem areas, and I noticed a difference pretty instantly. My skin felt AMAZINGLY smooth and soft, and my pores looked tightened and smaller, and it helped with my clogged pores! I’m one of those weird people who likes to see all the nasty stuff that comes off on their masks, and this mask did not disappoint! 😂 It has papaya in it to help resurface skin, and citrus to boost the brightness of of skin.
They have so many other amazing products as well, and I’ve been eyeballing their One Smooth Operator Pore Clearing Face Scrub, it looks amazing! And like I mentioned earlier, their packaging is just so appealing to the eye. It’s all so colorful and looks like it’ll smell super amazing.
If you’ve tried any of their products, please leave a comment below with what you tried and what you thought! I’d love to hear from you. 💙
